Dear Richmond Families,
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your willingness to volunteer and support the educational journey of our Richmond students. Our mission statement says: “Through partnerships with families, community members, students, and fellow educators, Richmond School District will be recognized for its academic excellence by developing the whole student to become a life-long learner.” It is through our volunteer program that parents and community members can assist in meeting our mission.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will begin the school year using STAFF SUPPORT volunteers in the 4K and 5K classrooms ONLY. If circumstances allow, we will expand volunteer opportunities as appropriate and you will be contacted.
Thank you again for your support and willingness to volunteer and work with our students and staff. We value your partnership and look forward to working with you during the 2020-21 school year.
